Gursimar is a Project Officer who joined SPH in 2023. Previously, he worked with SPH on a rotational basis during his time on the CSU Junior Consultant Development Programme where he supported the team in delivering Health Needs Assessments on Children and Young People’s services and an Alcohol and Substance Misuse service. Additionally, Gursimar is currently responsible for providing Programme Oversight to support the delivery of multiple Rapid Evidence Reviews in order to inform clinical commissioning policy for NHS England. Gursimar has extensive knowledge in providing project support/management, data analytics support, qualitative analysis support and stakeholder engagement.
Gursimar is a recent Neuroscience graduate. In his previous role as a Junior Consultant, Gursimar was involved a variety of other programmes ranging from undertaking a maturity assessment for Operational Delivery Networks within the Midlands region, to supporting Integrated Care Systems in realising their ambitions of achieving the Triple Aim of improving the health and wellbeing of the patients, improving the quality of services provided and ensuring the sustainable and efficient use of resources. As part of his previous role, Gursimar also successful achieved PRINCE 2 Foundation & Practitioner qualifications in project management.
