Cathy provides public health leadership and implementation for a variety of projects in support of health improvement, health care public health and commissioning.
Her key expertise includes rapid evidence reviews, service reviews, qualitative and quantitative service evaluation and needs assessment. The specialty areas where Cathy brings particular insight include specialised services, health screening, cancer, palliative care and bereavement services.
With a specialised knowledge of health screening Cathy has undertaken evidence reviews for potential new national programmes; written national guidance; quality assured programmes and facilitated the implementation of cancer and non-cancer screening programmes locally in the UK and abroad.
Cathy gained a DPhil and post-Doctoral research experience in biological sciences from Oxford University before moving to a role in public health where she undertook a Masters in Public Health.
