SPH is part of Health and Care Transformation, the health and care consulting directorate of NHS Arden & GEM Commissioning Support Unit. Areas of expertise within Health and Care Transformation include:
- Service Redesign – including change management and pathway and service evaluation
- Digital transformation – including digital strategy development, data sharing and interoperability, patient activation and empowerment, clinical decision support, digital infrastructure and connectivity and digital enabled new models of care
- Leadership and Organisational development – delivering Triple Aim, value and stewardship programmes, supporting organisations to develop successful integrated finance approaches and supporting system quality, diagnostics, codesign and implementation of bespoke OD programmes
- Finance and performance improvement – baseline, benchmarking and identifying opportunities, single system reporting, allocation of resources, procurement and finance
- All our work is underpinned by expert project, programme and portfolio management (P3M)
We also collaborate on specific projects with key CSU teams including:
- Engagement, Communications and Marketing providing specialist support in engaging with patients, commissioners, providers and other stakeholders
- Business Intelligence who provide advanced analytical and population health management services to a wide variety of customers
- Medicines Management and Optimisation who offer strategic and operational medicines management services to support best value for money whilst enabling patients to get the most from their medicines
